Commitment: at least two hours per week
- Assist your centre to estimate future needs (human, financial and resources), and help its members plan to resource them.
- Identify funding needs, distinguishing core and special project needs.
- Utilise sources of information concerning funders (e.g. CVS, FunderFinder via national office).
- Identify fund-raising helpers.
- Match centre's needs to possible funders.
- Consider event fund raising opportunities.
- With centre manager, agree content of funding applications.
- When funding is accessed ensure that the funder's monitoring and accountability requirements are fully met.
- Communicate with funders, showing the value of their intervention.
