SMC starts new relationship service in West Lothian

Family support charity, Scottish Marriage Care (SMC), has been awarded a Scottish Executive grant in partnership with Family Mediation Lothian for the provision of an evening receptionist, which will allow both charities to offer evening appointments in West Lothian.

SMC's Regional Manager, Trish Barry welcomed this success saying, "Counselling helps couples of all ages and stages to examine the difficulties in their relationships and move forward positively."

This new development will offer a much-needed service to West Lothian and increases the number of SMC counselling outlets across Scotland to 21.

Barry continued, "West Lothian does not have easy transport links and so many couples may have lost out in the past but with this grant success we will be able to offer a more flexible service and reach a wider range of couples."

The service will be  provided from the following locations:
