Our Services
The Relationship Helpline is a free, confidential and accessible telephone based service offering support to people in Scotland who are experiencing relationship difficulties. We offer a safe and supportive space where you can talk through your relationship concerns and be listened to by our experienced Helpline team. We can also provide information and signpost you to agencies who may be able to offer you further support. Our service has been developed through the experience and knowledge gained from over 45 years of delivering relationship support and is underpinned by warmth, empathy and understanding.

Our Helpline Team
The Relationship Helpline is staffed by our trained, experienced Helpline team who are committed to providing a professional, ethical and quality driven service. All of our team are highly trained professionals with extensive experience in providing relationship support.

How it Works
The Relationship Helpline is a national service available to all, regardless of status, and is funded by the Scottish Government. Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 9am to 8pm and Friday from 9am to 5pm. Calls to our helpline number 0808 802 2088 are free from landlines and mobiles.

Your confidentiality is important to us so your number is not visible and calls are not recorded. We endeavour to provide you with the most professional service possible so our Supervisor will occasionally listen into part of a call for quality assurance purposes.

Where appropriate to do so, we will ask you 4 statistical questions at the end of your call:

These questions allow us to monitor the uptake of our service, are useful for future funding and indicate which of our marketing methods are reaching clients, partners and stakeholders.
